You’re an experienced DevOps engineer looking for next adventure? Join our team and help us build marketplaces across Europe. Shape our apps, and learn new skills in a growing company!

Job description

Become a vital part of our development team, working closely with business, design, customer success, product, and country managers to build our fast-evolving marketplace platform.

What we’re looking for

Build an agile-oriented environment with us

We love incremental improvements and adaptability of the agile driven processes! Every day we try to find useful improvements for our platforms - active participation over implementation of the new features, improving existing codebase, monitoring and improving app’s reliability - that would be your main responsibility.

Help us improve our app

Our project is over 18 years old — we’re continuously improving and modernising our codebase and infrastructure. You should be ready to take ownership of necessary changes and migrations, while ensuring everything works as expected.

Decide how you want to grow in the team

Play an active role in apps further development. You can help us to set up new architecture guides, take ownership on specific project’s component or just support our customer success team to deliver best user’s experience. Flat team’s structure and product developed for our own needs mean a lot of opportunities and flexibility to build best environment for you.

Develop and follow best practices

Be a strong part of our engineering culture taking care of the quality of delivered code and following best practices. Our rules are simple - it’s better to spend more time on app’s maintenance and code’s refactors than estimating new features.

Knowledge sharing

Knowledge sharing is the key! We use Confluence daily to document the project’s knowledge and make our lives easier. We share our thoughts, challenges, and accomplishments during dedicated knowledge sharing meetings, monthly retrospectives, or internal workshops, keeping in mind to only schedule calls that bring value to all their participants.

What you bring

  • At least 3 years of experience as a DevOps engineer

  • Reliable, exact, and independent worker

  • Very hands-on, solution-based mindset

  • Good communication skills in English

  • Experience with Terraform, Kubernetes, CI/CD

  • Excellent knowledge of databases

  • Support for other developers (in the DevOps area) in their daily work, knowledge sharing and proactive creation of documentation

  • Experience using agile development methodologies in globally distributed teams

  • Positive, communicative, and motivating personality

  • Team player who also takes on challenges outside their field of work

What we offer

  • A supportive and inclusive working culture that we are very proud of!

  • Off-site socialising events with the team

  • Fully remote setup

  • Macbook

  • Working in an independent environment with a flat structure, where you can develop according to your interests
